Fresh Clean Water…

Why I switched to using a water distiller…

We have been using a water distiller for the last 5 years now and using it has very easily become part of our daily routine. So what exactly is a water distiller and why do I recommend using one you may ask yourself.

A water distiller is an electrical appliance which purifies any water and removes contaminants such as organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals and biological chemicals through a simple process called distillation. This process is when water is heated to its boiling point, it then evaporates leaving behind the impurities. The water vapor then condenses back to the liquid form, and this water is called Distilled Water.

We all know how important it is to consume water and in consuming large amounts each day I wanted to make sure me and my family were drinking it in it’s purest form possible. Our bodies are made up of roughly 60% water and water aids in the digestion of food, the absorption of energy and it aids the removal of waste from the body. Good quality water has become harder to get due to the additives and inorganic impurities of tap water. Due to this we were already consuming a lot of bottled water as this is what we were drinking daily and cooking with in our home. Also the amount of bottles we were using was contributing to the 7 billion bottles that are consumed yearly in just the UK alone.

My sister in law was using a water distiller and explained what this piece of equipment was to me and I liked the idea of drinking purer water and the money it saved on by no longer buying bottled water. One health benefit we have all as family have seen, is we feel even more hydrated in our skin and hair. I also don’t feel as sluggish in the afternoon.

We purchased the Megahome Distiller and it is still serving us well!!

Do you use a water distiller? What health benefits have you seen improve since using one? I would love to hear your stories hashtag on instagram @love_objects_blog

Take care for now,
