Ever thought of doubling up using your foot stool as a coffee table? This idea is a really nice way to add some more layers of materiality to soften the feel of your living space and at the same time it has more than one use! I love the Charmwood footstool from Darlings Of Chelsea because you can team it with a plain sofa, ideally in a complimentry colour. If your now thinking how to rest your coffee mugs? Well, The White Company do a lovely white lacquer tray set which would compliment any fabric footstool. Teamed up with some lovely books and your set for a cozy evening in.

Faux flowers and plants are ever so popular these days and they have advanced a long way. It’s often hard to tell if a plant is real or not. Cox & Cox faux potted burgundy tipped aloe plant is not only gorgeous, its comes in a beautiful glazed clay pot. I also spotted a sweet faux agave plant in a lovely pot from Perch & Parrow. Check out all their lovely range of faux plants here.
